From Googleplex in Mountain View USAFeb 09, 2018
Welcome to this video. I'm Tom Koster, and at this moment, I am in the Google store in Mountain View and just found some nice merchandise here, a coffee mug and a bag, easy bag, $5 and $13 for the mug.
Why do I tell you this? It's because these things have emotional value to me. I've been in the IT business since 1988, since the late '80s. I've been doing internet marketing since the late '90s, and Google has always been very important to me.
I first heard about Google in January of the year 2000 at a Jay Abraham seminar in Los Angeles, California. And since then, I've been using it. I've been following it, and I've been using it for my business and also for my clients' business.
Now, being in this very nice environment here and in this Android store here, Google merchandise store, to me it's important. And just to keep the good feeling, I have decided to bring along these things to my home.
So every time I use the mug or I use the bag, I think about a time that I was here at January 31st of 2018, and it reminds me that I have a very nice job helping clients with internet marketing, social media, with websites, and with that, I'm able to travel to the United States, to visit seminars, to visit places like this.
So it's a combination of work and play, and being here, being here around people like Google, and I went to Apple yesterday, it inspires me to keep on working, keep on finding what works for business in marketing and media, and Apple and absolutely Google has been very important for your business probably too.
And if you have not used Google for your business, my advice is that you should take a look at Google AdWords, Google street view, Google maps because Google is still the search engine to be. If you want to be found, it's important for your business that you have a presence on Google.
And in my coaching program in the Create Revenue Now, coaching program, I talk a lot about online advertising. In the Deluxe version, the marketing part, online advertising is the first segment, and if you are serious about doing business, then Google should be in your marketing.
That's it for now. Have a good week, and talk to you next week.
Bye for now.
